EQIC’s falls work is designed to assist hospitals in implementing evidence-based strategies to prevent and reduce the incidence of all falls and associated injury with the goal of reducing all-cause patient harm by 9%, which includes falls.
This workgroup provides a platform for hospitals to develop action plans to improve performance outcomes to meet these goals. Action plans will explore various opportunities for improvement to facilitate hospitals’ ability to take action and implement tools, resources and workflows to improve performance outcomes.
