EQIC’s sepsis work is designed to assist hospitals improve severe sepsis and septic shock care processes and outcomes by supporting frontline staff adherence to evidence-based protocols with the goal of reducing all-cause patient harm by 9%.
This workgroup provides a platform for hospitals to develop action plans to improve performance outcomes to meet these goals. Action plans will explore various opportunities for improvement to facilitate hospitals’ ability to take action and implement tools, resources and workflows to improve performance outcomes.
