EQIC’s infection work is designed to assist hospitals in the implementation of standardized processes for the identification and adoption of best practices to prevent infections, with the goal of reducing all-cause patient harm by 9%, which includes hospital-acquired infections.
This workgroup provides a platform for hospitals to develop action plans to improve performance outcomes to meet these goals. Action plans will explore various opportunities for improvement to facilitate hospitals’ ability to take action and implement tools, resources and workflows to improve performance outcomes.
