EQIC Data Management Orientation - Recording

Description:
EQIC is pleased to formally begin its comprehensive data management strategy and launch its secure data portal. EQIC staff will share its measurement plan and general approach to achieving our outcome goals, as well as answer any questions.

Agenda:

• Summary of program outcome goals and overall approach.
• In-depth overview of EQIC’s measures.
• Review and demonstration of EQIC’s secure data portal, including:
  • data entry;
  • available hospital-level data reports; and
  • hospital staff roles and user management.
• Data submission processes, including review of National Healthcare Safety Network conferring rights, National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators waiver process, submission of hospital claims files and establishing a connection with hospital’s EHR for laboratory and pharmacy data.
• Review of manual data submission process where source data is not available.

The EQIC team also will discuss the free AHRQ Culture of Safety survey.
