EQIC’s three-part series provides education on prescribing anticoagulation medications and preventing and treating VTE. These 30-minute sessions provide a framework to support implementation of standardized VTE risk assessment for specific populations, prescription of optimal, risk-appropriate VTE prophylaxis and administration of risk-appropriate VTE prophylaxis as prescribed.
